Your First Visit

At Trinity Valley, we like to start every first visit by getting to know our patients. You will meet with one of our doctors one-on-one to get all of your questions answered, and discuss your specific issues and goals.

Consultation

A preoperative consultation and physical examination are mandatory for patients undergoing surgery. During the consultation, our doctors will examine you and look at all the options available for your specific needs.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern before surgery (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Your surgical referral slip and any x-rays (if applicable).
  • A list of medications you are presently taking.
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, please bring any insurance cards with you to your appointment.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3D-Scan & I-CAT Imaging

At our dental office, we want to make sure that our patients get the best care available. For that reason, here at Trinity Valley OMS, we do a 3D-Scan for every patient, even if they have an X-Ray from a referring doctor. This 3D-Scan allows our doctors to have the best possible picture of a patient’s anatomy and in turn, allows them exact precision when diagnosing a problem.

i-CAT® dental imaging technology is now offered at Trinity Valley Oral Surgery to provide the most accurate diagnosis for our patients. From analysis, through planning and placement, to complete restoration, i-CAT® allows clinicians surgical predictability with treatment planning in full 3D with restorative outcomes in mind. i-CAT’s high resolution, volumetric images provide complete 3D views for more thorough analysis of bone structure and tooth orientation.

Our treatment planning software allows our treatment coordinators to virtually map an entire course of treatment from surgical placement of the implant and abutment, all the way to final restoration. This allows our patients to have a better understanding of what will be taking place while getting them on their way to a brand new, beautiful smile.

Treatment Options

Once our doctors have assessed your options, they’ll spend time with you going over your specific situation and the best approach to taking care of your dental needs.

After visiting with the doctor, our team will also go over financial options such as CareCredit, GreenSky & Lending Club.

Scheduling Your Treatment

After all of your questions have been answered and a treatment option is chosen, our team will work with you to schedule your surgery date. They will also go over your pre-op and post-op instructions.

Change Your Smile. Improve Your Health. Today.
